Ralph Lauren Winter Olympics opening and closing ceremony outfits
USAT’ Sam Cardona-Norberg brings you along to reveal the opening and closing ceremony Ralph Lauren outfits for Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics.
Sports Seriously
The 2026 Winter Olympics have arrived in Italy, and the opening ceremony is expected to astound with the top-of-the-line fashion the athletes will wear.
Beginning Feb. 6 at 2 p.m. ET, approximately 2,900 athletes will walk a parade route in San Siro Stadium in Milan.
Of those athletes representing over 90 countries, here are the top teams (fashion-wise, at least) that will take the spotlight on the international runway.
Team Mongolia
Goyol Cashmere designed Team Mongolia’s Olympic uniforms. Bringing in ancient culture and Mongolia’s nomadic heritage, the ceremonial outfits are highly talked about and applauded.
Team Haiti
Stella Jean outfits the two athletes who will represent Haiti in the 2026 Winter Olympics – Richardson Viano and Stevenson Savart.
Inspired by art from Edouard Duval-Carrié, Stella Jean is providing the only hand-painted outfits in the 2026 Games.
Team USA
Ralph Lauren has made his mark again with the ceremonial outfits that blend style, elegance, heritage, and performance.
This year will mark the brand’s 10th consecutive appearance as the official outfitter for Team USA at the Olympic Games.
Team Australia
Sportscraft created an iconic blazer for Team Australia, sewing the Olympians Oath onto the inside pocket, with the names of all Australian Winter Olympians sewn into the lining.
Is that extra? Yes. Is it legendary? Also yes.
Sportscraft is a recurring outfitter for Team Australia, designing multiple summer and winter Olympic campaigns.
Team Canada
“Cut from the cold,” lululemon astounds with the multiple designs for Team Canada. The added touch of the maple leaf on one puffer jacket brings in the national symbol of Canada.
Since September 2021, lululemon has been the official outfitter for Team Canada.
Team Norway
Dale of Norway is showcased for Team Norway. The official championship sweater is crafted from Norwegian wool on the outside – merino wool on the inside – and features Nordic geometric patterns.
Dale of Norway has been the official outfitter for Team Norway for nearly 70 years.
Team Iceland
66°North takes it literally with its home country’s Olympic design – ice and land. The clean, fresh design gives the nod to the North Atlantic elements of the island. The gear represents some of the special, unique features of the country, focusing on the snowy landscape of Iceland.
Team Great Britain
By far the comfiest design, Team Great Britain has “style and spirit” from Adidas and Ben Sherman.
British brand Ben Sherman returns as the official outfitter for Team Great Britain for the fourth consecutive year.
Team Italy
Emporio Armani gave the home team a patriotic touch, printing the lyrics of the Italian national anthem inside the jackets and on polo shirts.
Team Italy has had the brand as its official outfitter since 2012.
Team Brazil
Moncler outfits Team Brazil with a modern look that highlights luxury performance and the brand’s evolution to a global luxury leader.
The 2026 Games mark the return of Moncler to the Olympics after a nearly 60-year absence.
Team France
Le Coq Sportif has brought French elegance to the international sports stage. The soft colors channel the nation’s colors with a winter kiss.
Since 2021, Le Coq Sportif has been the official outfitter of Team France.
