Our favorite looks from Michigan Fashion Week in Detroit

Michigan’s small-but-mighty community of fashion designers, hair stylists, makeup artists and models strutted their way to The Godfrey Hotel in Detroit last week for the 12th annual Michigan Fashion Week.
The four-day event showcased more than 25 designers from across the Midwest, including streetwear from The Style Guru, God Said Couture and Taylor Childs Studio. High-fashion wardrobes came from Mahogani Collections, House of Ella Rouge and LOJO Fashion + Design.
“We’ve grown tremendously,” said Loren Hicks, founder and CEO of Michigan Fashion Week. “From the crowd size to the number of designers … it’s bigger, and it’s better, and it’s different.”
More than 1,000 fashion influencers and admirers also came dressed to the nines. Here are our top 10 looks from Michigan Fashion Week.
